Upland and Waterfowl Training
Upland and waterfowl classes are designed to assist you and your dog not only prepare for the NAVHDA test and also hone skills needed to be successful in the field. The upland training will consist of tracking, pointing, steadiness and retrieving drills. The waterfowl training covers retrieving marks, blind retrieves, and the duck search.
This is a weekly event starting on 17 May through 19 July 2017. We will be training hunting dogs for upland as well as water. If you have a versatile dog, a pointing dog that you would like to train to handle ducks and water, then this is your 10 week, once a week, event. Basically we will cover all the events required to make a GREAT Versatile hunting partner. This is the class to attend if you are planning to run the August NAVHDA test or just want a good all around hunting partner. Class is every Wednesday evening 7pm til 8:30 pm in the Peters Creek to the Valley area. Each week we will meet and train at a different location depending on the subject of that week, weather and bird availability.

Cost $150 for 10 classes.(Payments can be made through the storefront tab above after 17 March 2017)
Training Birds: We will have Homing pigeons available at no charge. Expect to pay about $20 for Chukar, $25 for Pheasants and Ducks Details on training bird availability at a later date.
